Mounting ntfs filesystem in linux

You may have faced a situation where you wants to mount a windows NTFS file-system in Linux. It can achieve it by the following Linux command.

mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /media/drive1

Here ‘/dev/sda1‘ represents the drive that you are trying to mount and '/media/drive1‘ is the directory where this partition is mounting. Please not that, if the destination where its mounting is not exist, then it will show errors and won’t able to mount it.
